The film is about....

Keshav Sharma (Akshay Kumar) a thirty plus guy who lives in a village Mandgaon, in Uttar Pradesh with his father Panditji (Sudhir Pandey), and Naru (Divyendu Sharma). basically a family with no women.
One day, Keshav meets Jaya Sharma (Bhumi Pednekar) in train and fall in love with her. Later he get to know, Jaya is the topper of town, while Keshav is an uneducated guy. Keshav doesn’t lose his hope and make Jaya to fall in love with him too.

When Keshav ask about his marriage form his father he said, “You have to get married to a girl who has two thumbs. That girl will bring happiness and wealth in the home”. So, Keshav click a picture of Jaya with a fake thumb to keep his father superstitious beliefs.

After getting married, early in the morning Jaya get to know that her matrimonial home doesn’t have a toilet. Every morning a gang of ladies named “Lota Gang” go in open land for Toilet before the break of dawn to escape. But Jaya was an educated girl, and from a family which has toilet in their house. She refused to relief herself in open. In meanwhile Keshav tries lot of tricks and means to give her comfort zone but couldn’t. One day, Jaya leave Keshav and return to his Parental home. Her father and uncle (Anupam Kher) supports her courage and stand with her but her mom suggest her to go back and should compromise.

Other side, Keshav tries to convince his father to build a toilet in house but his fundamentalist father Panditji refused it. The news spared up after publishing in newspaper and media. After that the issue raise in Panchayat, and panch neglect to build up toilet in village. Then Keshav take a pledge, “Biwi aye chahe na aay Gaao mai sandas jarur ayega”.

The remaining movie will make you laugh a lot. And I would recommend you to watch the remaining story yourself. It’s a nice movie to invest you time and money.
